The first thing that men, children, and other women see is our face. You can defend and treat your face and skin so that you look young even while you're aging.

The following products have been tested to help the basic problems all women face as they age.

Fight off Fine Lines- You want a product that will basically iron out your creases. Throughout the day and years, you use your facial muscles to shoe expression, whether excitement, sorrow, stress, etc. In order to fight off the fine lines and wrinkles around the sensitive areas like your mouth, eyes, and forehead, try to keep your skin moisturized and hydrated.

2. Skin Effects by Dr. Jeffrey Dover Cell2Cell CNS (Cellular Nutrient Serum)
3. Physicians Formula CoverToxTen50 Wrinkle Therapy Face Powder (fast fix)

Soothe Itchy Skin

August 5th 2009 14:50
When you have an itch that you don't need to scratch and you want gone, there are many ways that you can soothe it. Just remember in most cases of itchy skin, you don't want to scratch because you can easily make it worse or you can spread the itch, especially if it's a rash that can get under your nails and be spread elsewhere on your body.

Tips to get rid of an itch naturally can include, but are not limited to the following.

Itch caused by bug bites
Whether you were bitten by a flea, mosquito, gnat, ant, wasp, bee, or tick, you'll probably experience some sort of natural reaction from your body. Usually, you're body will react in pain, itching, redness, and/or swelling. Try the following:

* Remove any stingers that may be left and clean the area with water. An ice pack will temporarily relieve any pain and swelling.
* Honey will relieve the itching as well as prevent infections. Honey is has antibiotic properties.
* Cucumber skins can also relieve itching.
* Fresh eggplant slices on top of the bite will draw out any toxins and relieve the irritation.
* Tea tree oil should be applied to bites every 2-3 hours to relieve itching and aid the healing process. Tea tree oil has antiseptic, anti-fungal, and antibacterial properties.
* Warm water mixed with Epsom salts and backing soda can ease itching for flea bites.

Soothe Sunburns
Once you've passed the fine line between a suntan and a sunburn, you'll want to find the best way to heal a sunburn. Try these natural remedies.

* Rehydrate your body. Mix equal amounts of pineapple and black cherry juice. Pineapple juice will help reduce inflammation, and the skins of the cherries help relieve inflammation.
* Apply a thin layer of plain yogurt to cool and moisturize the skin.
* Aloe vera gel is a great natural remedy for a sunburn. You can also break a piece off of an aloe vera plant and rub the inner gel onto the burn.

Heat Rash
* If you are prone to heat rash, you'll want to make sure that you eat the right diet. Include cucumbers, collard greens, Swiss chard, kale, mustard greens, carrots, celery, broccoli, dandelion greens, oats, watermelon, olives, raspberries, and grapes.
* Chrysanthemum and mint will help cleanse the liver, so when used in a tea they are great to help ease the heat..

During the summer time, so many people fail to think about the problems that are potentially associated with summer time activities and just being out in the sun. We really do forget the potential outcome. A bad sun burn or two not only gives you the initial discomfort of the burn, itchiness, and peeling, but what about permanent skin damage... Do you ever really think about that as you're swimming in a pool or out fishing on the docks? It's possible, and it's scary.

It's very important that you consider some type of sun protection for your skin. It's best is you apply at least 30 minutes before you actually get into the sun. It's also a good idea to re-apply at least every two hours (typically that's more towards if you're using sunscreen, as sunblock generally does not require any second or third applications).

But, it can be hard to choose a sun protection product. Personally, I prefer sunblock. You only need one application, and there are fewer statistical problems associated with sunblock versus sunscreen.

Yes, you can experience various issues when using sunscreen. The chemicals that absorb the UV rays can break apart and can cause various skin conditions, such as basal cell carcinoma and melanoma. But, that doesn't mean that if you only have sunscreen that you should just go without sun protection; it's better to have some protection than no protection.

You also want to consider the SPF rating that's on the bottle or spray. Generally, the number represents how long it will take before you start to burn. For example, if you burn in 10 minutes and you're sunblock is of SPF 30, then it will take you about 300 minutes before you burn. Just remember that this is an approximation and not an exact number.

If you're still confused as to whether you want to purchase a sunscreen or a sunblock you may want to check out Sunscreen VS Sunblock, so that you can get a better idea of which sun protection product you want to use on your own skin.

Also, a great product that everyone should consider is Buzz Bath Caffeinated Lotion. Caffeine has been proven to help prevent skin damage caused by the sun, as the caffeine can somehow destroys cells that have been damaged by UV rays before they become cancerous. You can use the lotion morning to revise your skin with a glowing look. The lotion feels great and smells pretty good too with a rosemary-mint scent.

Is a Spray on Tan Safe?

June 21st 2009 12:32
According to the Food and Drug Administration, FDA, sunless tanning products are generally much more safe than sunbathing and tanning in tanning beds. When applied to the skin, the FDA considers spray on tans safe, although there are potential risks to spray on tans.

The risks for spray on tans are not nearly as dangerous as natural UV or artificial UV rays. The spray-on tanning or mist-on tanning options that you can consider at a salon or spa are generally applied to the entire body, including the face in order to ensure a full balanced color, but this creates the potential of the product getting into your eyes, nostrils, or lips

Sunless Self Sun Tanning Products

June 19th 2009 12:17
It's always nice to have a nice bronze glow during the summer months, and heck it's not so bad in the winter months, either, but it can be a pain to sit outside and tan in the natural sunlight and plain expensive to use a tanning bed. Plus, natural sunlight has a number of health disadvantages and artificial UV rays from tanning beds are even worse. The nice alternative is a spray on tan of just any kind of self tanning that you can do at home via a lotion, spray, or foam.

You can go to the tanning parlor and pay out the bum for a nice spray on tan, or you can purchase a self tanner at the store and do the same thing. You just want to make sure that you purchase a product that will actually work as the bottle claims
