The important thing to remember, is that you love him, and you've obviously made the decision to try to move past this to reconcile your relationship. That is great. Just remember that there is nothing on the internet, in a book, or in a magazine that will tell you what the 100% right thing for you to do. None of your friends, or his, will be able to tell you what you you should. The decision is yours to make, and there is no wrong answer. All you have to do is to figure out what you want, and give that a try. If it doesn't work out, then you can say that you tried.
So, when trying to figure out what to do next, after you found out your boyfriend has cheated is truly up to you. Some of the suggestions that may be made include:
* Take some time off to think and clear your mind, before going back. Although, this may be hard with the trust issue now at hand, many think that it's a good idea to take the time off to think.
* Talk things through. Although, you'll never get all of the answers that you want, as sometimes there just aren't answers, especially if your relationship was otherwise perfect without any problems. You and your boyfriend still need to sit down and talk.
* Don't get mad, angry, or blame yourself. You did not cause anything to happen. You may go through many emotions while processing the events and while healing, but you want to pull your friends closer.
* Therapists are available to talk to. You may want to consider talking to a therapist by yourself for a while, and then consider a couples counselor.
* You want to rebuild the trust, so make him work for it. Don't harass him, but find ways that he can help rebuild the trust. Don't let it fall solely on him, as you will need to try, as well.
Honesty is the key to rebuilding a relationship after someone has cheated.
