How to Prevent a Hangover

If you're planning on going out and drinking, you should always know your limit, and you should always have a sober ride home. Never endanger yourself or others when drinking.... I know this sounds like something your mother would tell you, but hey, it's advice that just may save your life one day.
But, I'm sure this isn't the first time that you've gone out with your friends partying and drinking, and it's probably won't be the first hangover you've ever had. Well, here are a few tips to reducing the chances of waking up in the morning with a hangover.
Please remember that I have not necessarily tried all of these tips, but I have tried a few of them, and they work. Let's say, I haven't woken up with a hangover in many months, and by limiting how fast I drink the night before, I'm even able to drink more alcohol.
When drinking you never want to drink on an empty stomach because the food will absorb some of the alcohol in your body and it will help your body to digest the alcohol faster. By eating starchy foods before you drink and while you drink, the foods will slow down the alcohol absorption.
Ty to limit how fast you consume the alcohol. The slower your drink, the more you can drink, and the less likely of waking up with a hangover. I know it sounds odd, but it works for me. Some people say drink just 1 drink each hour, but as long as you limit how fast you drink alcohol, you should reduce the hangover risk just slightly.
Alternate your alcoholic drinks with non-alcoholic beverages. Try switching it up by alternating with water. You really don't want to drink a carbonated drink while drinking alcohol because the carbonation will speed up the alcohol absorption. Also, try to avoid drinking sweet drinks while you drink alcohol, as the sweet taste will make it harder to judge how much alcohol you're actually consuming.
Try taking a multi-vitamin with extra Vitamin B and/or C tablet with a glass of water before you go to bed.

Good advice, but for those sensitive to alcohol like me, the best cure I ever discovered for a hangoever, was to have one glass of water between each alcoholic beverage, and then three glasses of water before bed, not one; or two ~ and a cup of decaf tea works well too.
Alcoholics wont agree with me of course *lol*
