Natural Yeast Infection Cure
March 21st 2010 13:59
Yeast infections are very common among women because there are so many different things that can cause a yeast infection to develop. Whether it's stress, an oral contraceptive, an antibiotic, or anything in-between, about 3 in every 4 women will develop a yeast infection at some point.
Trust me, it's not pretty and it's not fun. I think that antibiotics are probably the most common cause of developing a yeast infection. Years back, my doctor gave me an antibiotic for something, and when she wrote that prescription, she went ahead and wrote one for yeast infection medicine. She knew it was going to happen, and it did. I woke up one day in excrutiating pain from the tremendous itch that was there.
The prescription medication cleared up the infection rather quickly, but if I had a choice a nice natural, home remedy would have been more optimal. When you use natural treatments, you are putting fewer chemicals into your body, and you're potentially making your body healthier by reducing the toxins. Yes, the medicines are supposed to help you, but why not try a home remedy that is natural and is still proven to treat and even prevent yeast infections?
