Looks that Drive Men Crazy

December 22nd 2011 16:54
It's hard to believe that some of the things that women do to make themselves more appealing, is actually just wasting their own time. Not all men are the same, and not all men like the same things, but as a female, one must be herself for herself.

Below, you'll find ten basic things that you can do that turn men on. You may be surprised at some of the suggestions.

1. Go Natural - It seems more men like women to be clean and natural, as caking on the make-up creates a false appeal that doesn't really appeal.

2. Curves - Men don't want their women super skinny and boney. Curves here and there can be quite a turn on.

3. Weird Habits are Cute - The right man will find your weird habits cute, versus irritating- twisting your hair, shaking your foot, etc.

4. Toss the Hair Dryer - Men like natural, so there's no need to spend hours straightening your hair. You don't have to have every individual hair in place.

5. Eyelashes - Thick, fluffy eyelashes that you know how to use will definitely help you get exactly what you want.

6. Legs of all Kinds - Men are men... They like legs of all kinds.

7. Unique Style - There's no need to look like every other female on the street. Being you draws your man to you, not dressing like the celeb on TV. Know your limits and wear what you like.

8. Your Scent - All people have their own personal scent. We are drawn to each other by our scent, and science has proven that we are subconsciously drawn to people by how they smell.

9. When You Ask for What You Want - When a women skips the hints and actually asks for what she wants, men tend to be more drawn. Men don't always pick up on hints, but they tend to be attracted to women who are a little blunt.

10.Career - When you're passionate about your job, and you throw on your fancy suit, you'll find that many men are attracted to the professional woman.

Secrets of Outlet Malls

September 5th 2011 16:24
We all love getting great products and top brands for a discounted price. This is where outlet malls come into play, as here you can purchase your $400 Coach bag for $250, or your $60 Polo shirt for $40.

The concern about outlet malls is that you're not always getting the brand that you're thinking, and you're not always getting top quality. You want to watch what you're buying from an outlet store, just so that you aren't getting ripped off.

First off, keep in mind that the original idea behind an outlet store is to sell overstocked, discontinued, and imperfect items. But, now, outlet stores fill their shelves with merchandise specifically manufactured for outlet stores, which include items made with lower quality materials and a cheaper construction. In some cases, there may be knockoff brands with the same label.

You also want to keep in mind that no matter what the store tells you the average retail cost is, their sale price is whatever they feel like selling at.

Before you make your next purchase, you'll want to consider the following tips.

1. Check the tags. You'll find that irregular or imperfect merchandise will have tags that are sliced or market on to indicate that the item is not fit for sale at a regular retail store. Gap outlet stores may use white tags with blue letters, which is the reverse of the real Gap tag.

2. Know what your prices are at regular retail stores.

3. Consider the seasons, as in-season merchandise isn't going to hit the outlet store until after the season has passed. If it's winter, expect spring and summer clothes at an outlet.

4. If the retail name has many stores, then the outlet more than likely is getting merchandise manufactured for outlets. If the Brand name only has a few stores, then you're probably getting discontinued items, last season merchandise, etc.

Always shop during sale times. When the name brand store is having a big sale, the outlet should also be having a sale.

Keep in mind that you're probably not going to leave empty handed, as outlet stores are generally placed out-of-the way and off the interstate. By driving the extra 15 minutes to the outlet mall, you're more likely to come home with at least one or two bags.

Choosing the Right Jeans

August 14th 2011 18:18
Jeans are hard to buy and can be hard to wear properly, especially if you don't have the right pair. When choosing the right pair of blue jeans, consider the guide below.

Consider jeans you'll wear to work. You'll want a casual jean that is alterable and be customized. A business casual jean is one that has a slight boot-cut leg with trouser-looking jean material. Consider a pair of jeans that has more of a dark wash to them and a front crease. Wear this style of blue jean with a pointy toe show to lengthen your leg, giving you a taller and slimmer appearance.

Find a blank canvas that you can dress up, down, or turn all around into your own look.

Avoid trendy jeans. Fashion jeans go out of trend so quickly, that sometimes it's not worth paying $50 or more for one pair of jeans that next week will be out of style. You want a jean that is more fashion-future. Brown, black, and grey are edgy jeans; skinny jeans make you look slimmer and curvier.

Buy larger size jeans. A slightly larger jean with a medium rise and medium leg width, is going to provide a casual and work jean that will flatter your hips and curves. You'll want a less formal wash that is more of a dark jean that will slim your legs and tend to appear more formal.

Look for age-appropriate jeans. So many women are looking for the trendy jeans, but women in their 40s can't necessarily wear the same jean as women in their 20s. But, in general women between 20 and 40 should look for plainer jeans without the bells and whistles. You don't want to look like you're trying to look young. You'll want a lighter wash that will call more attention to your legs, whereas a darker wash will hide your great shape.

Always keep in mind that if you find a pair of jeans that you really like and flatter your body, you'll want to buy two pairs. One you can wear with flats and one with heels.

Makeup Tips

July 21st 2011 16:26

I've got a few clever makeup tips that you've probably never thought of before.

* Don't use oil slick to keep the shine to a minimum. You may want to try using a tiny dab of yoru deodorant under your eyes and your t-zone to reduce the shine and create a more matte appearance.

* You may want to use a different color eyeliner to make your eyes look bigger and brighter, as a basic black eyeliner can make your eyes look closed, receded, and darker.

* Use a sheer foundation and add a little aloe to it in order to create a smoother look.

* Make sure to style your brows to accent yoru eyes. You can use powder to define the eyebrow and to bring more attention to the center arch, which gives the appearance of a bigger eye.

* If you want a wet lash appearance, you can apply a little MAC brow set in clear to your eyelashes and then use a black mascara.

* In order to ensure that your lip color stays in place, use the MAC Brow Set in clear around the edges of your lips to prevent bleeding.

* If you want long Bambi-like eyelashes, you don't have to use mascara. You can use a little eyeliner, whether a dark brown or a black, to to the upper rim of you eye underneath the eyelashes. This will give a fuller, thicker appearance.

Gucci is one of many designer brands that people love so much. They offer plenty of bags, purses, wallets, and even belts and other accessories. You'll find that the average retail price of Gucci products are going to be much higher than tyour typically Wal*Mart variety product, but in that higher price, you're going to get a much better quality.

Hate Painting My Nails

December 27th 2010 01:55
I haven't painted my nails in such a long time, but I bought a few different colors today... I came home and painted my nails... I put a few coats on them, waited a minute, but they weren't quite dry. I sprayed them with pam to dry them, and they still messed up.

I think it's funny that spray pam dries nail polish like none other
