Dating Behaviors that Scare Men Away

The first few weeks of a new relationship can be the crucial, deciding factor as to how long you will be in that relationship. I mean, face it, women do a lot of irritating and annoying things to push guys away and sometimes you just don't want that to happen with a new relationship, so when starting off, you want to make sure that you avoid doing things to push your new man away. You don't want to sabotage a potentially wonderful relationship, so make sure to avoid the following six behaviors that are guaranteed to scare a man off.
1. Trash-talking your ex. You don't want to talk about your ex in a good light around your new boyfriend, and you certainly don't want to talk about him in a bad light. It's actually best not to talk about an ex in front of a new boyfriend unless asked otherwise. Plus, by talking poorly about an ex sends the message of "if this relationship doesn't work, I'm going to talk bad about you to future men," so don't do it. Try to keep it neutral.
2. Paranoia runs rampant. Do not let your paranoia get the best of you. You do not want to send continuous text message or call constantly when you are apart, especially when he's out with the guys. Let him text you. Leave your last initiated text at, "Have fun. Be safe." He will definitely appreciate you not checking up on him throughout the night. If you can't trust him, then maybe it's not meant to be. You will push a man far, far away if you don't respect his time alone or his time with the guys.
3. Trash-talking other women. Don't trash talk other females when around your new guy. This pretty much tells the guy that you aren't confident in how you look and don't feel comfortable with yourself, so you have to downgrade other women, you secretly feel look better than you. You look insecure by trash talking other women, and men find confident and secure women sexy.
4.Fishing for compliments. Plain and simple, don't fish for compliments. Let him come up with them on his own and say them in his own time. Don't ask, "How do I look tonight?" He'll know what you want him to say. If he doesn't give you a compliment when you really would like one, just leave it be and accept it. He's probably thinking it, so don't fish to hear it.
5. Clingy and possessive. You both need your space. Let him go off and do his own thing once in a while. Being clingy and possessive will definitely push a man away as fast as you can blink. If you are out together and a woman comes up to your man, grab and squeeze his hand to show he's yours, but leave it at that; let go of his hand and let him talk to her. You don't want to hang all over him like a monkey because that's how he'll feel you're acting even though you think that you're telling her to back off, he's yours. It just won't come across that way.
6. Pushing friends on him. Don't push friends on him too soon, meaning within the first few weeks, heck maybe month or two, avoid throwing your friends at him. Let him get to know you before you make him get to know your friends.
Remember that the first few months of a relationship are the most important, and you want to make sure that you avoid the major behaviors that can push a man away, especially if you like the guy. Take things slow; do not rush things.
