Girls Can Have Tattoos Too!

March 2nd 2009 10:31
There are so many people who feel that tattoos are a masculine thing. I mean, it reality there are so many tattoo designs that are masculine. You have your dragons, demons, skulls, etc., but that doesn't mean that a woman can't rack a dragon tattoo or a skull. In reality, women can be just as sexy in a tattoo than a man can, as long as the tattoo is done right and as long as it is in the right spot.

You can have two of the exact same tattoo but in two different places, and have one look more feminine than another, and if you're looking for feminine you definitely want to consider the placement of the tattoo and the design will follow behind.

I personally have three tattoos with plans for more, and I don't think they are necessarily masculine, but at the same time it could be because I'm not the most masculine female, although I'm not the most feminine either. But anway...

If you think that woman can't have tattoos and still look sexy, think again because there are a number of sexy women with tattoos.

And, no I wouldn't necessarily claim Kat von De one of those women, as she is pure covered in tattoos; although I wouldn't say she's ugly or unattractive either. I just think there is a way to look sexy with tattoos.

Common places for tattoos on women can include but not limit the following body parts.

* Ankle
* Chest
* Foot
* Leg
* Lower back
* Upper back
* Wrist

Personally, I don't think that upper arm tattoos are very feminine, but I'm sure if you were able to find the perfect tattoo design that complemented the shape of the arm, then an upper arm tattoo can look great on a woman.

It's also in the design. Although, as a woman I believe that females can get any design they want and make it look as feminine as they want. But, generally speaking, there are different designs that you can choose to make any tattoo design more feminine. Consider the following.

* Butterflies
* Flowers
* Hearts
* Lettering
* Stars
* Swirls

Remember that these suggestions should NEVER limit you or your tattoo design. I mean, I have a mascule tattoo on my left shoulder blade, that has no sign of femininity to it. (It's an American Pit Bull Terrier tattoo.)
