* Talks about his ex throughout the entire date.
* Doesn't offer to pay for you on the first date.
* Speaks badly about his ex's or mother.
* Treats the waiter rudely.
* Any personal issues that you may have, such as poor hygiene.
Everyone's tastes are different, so it can be hard to determine what signs may be bad for you, since some of those signs may be indifferent or good for your friend.
You want to make sure that you're nice and polite on the date, but if you feel uncomfortable or awkward by any means, you need to make sure that you don't lead your date on. You don't want to confuse the situation, especially because you don't know whether your date is into you.
But, do remember that sometimes it takes more than one date to decide.
